I love using luxury skin-care products and it's wonderful to be able to buy something
decadent that is just for you - a little bit of pampering is always a welcome treat!

But I don't love the fact that the majority of products on the market are filled with
un-necessary chemicals that have detrimental effects on our health and the environment.

I first started looking at ingredients when I had an adverse reaction to a product and out
of simple curiosity I wanted to try and discover which ingredient disagreed with my skin.

But once I started to examine the ingredients and research each one, the more shocked
I became at what I discovered - I began to ask questions such as:

• Why does my trusted skin-care product have an industrial, engine-cleaning agent in it?
• Why does it have a substance in it that is known to cause reproductive problems?
• Why does it have synthetic fragrances in it that contain toxins and chemicals which are not disclosed on the packaging?
  
• Why does it contain harsh petroleum by-products that could be linked to cancer?
• Why is it loaded with chemical preservatives to sustain an un-naturally long shelf life?

So I started to make my own skin-goodies with organic essential oils and plant oils that were beneficial and nourishing for my skin. But I still also wanted the luxury of purchasing natural and organic skin-care products and I soon discovered that there weren't any Irish products out there that were 100% natural or organic.

And that's how Nádúr Organics was born…….

I quit my job working in the media and spent a year and a half doing research, developing organic formulations, working with cosmetic scientists, aromatherapists and safety professionals and looking at alternative therapies which aided my quest to develop a product range that is safe, clean, natural and organic.

Nádúr Organics will continue to develop and launch gorgeous new products every few months so please let us know what you think and we do hope that you will enjoy using them just as much as we do.
