Sea Algae (Fucus Serratus)

The sea algae in our Algotherapy Bath Sachets is nutrient-rich and hand-harvested from pure waters off the West Coast of Ireland. Sea algae has been used for centuries in baths for its detoxifying properties. The French use it extensively in Thalassotherapy treatments and Ireland too has a history of using seaweed in baths for its restorative qualities. Seaweed is rich in minerals, trace elements, proteins, iodine and vitamins. Seaweed baths remineralise and detox the body and using sea algae alongside essential oils creates a synergistic curative effect.
